Grab your beach bag and stroll to the family-friendly sandy beach, which is just a few minutes' walk from the vacation home. There are also excellent beaches on the nearby Kegnäs peninsula, one of which is not far away. There are also good opportunities for fishing along the coast. Als offers a wealth of historical memories and attractions in a small area, including some of Denmark's most famous castles and mills. Visit Augustenborg Castle, for example. The castle also includes a beautiful castle park and a very beautiful castle church, which is open to visitors. Sonderburg Castle, which today houses a museum with several exhibitions, is located in Sonderburg. Sønderborg also has a cozy harbor environment with sailing ships and restaurants along the waterfront.
