Luxurious holiday house with a pool and a sea view, in a panoramic location

The villa is nestled into a green hilly landscape with vineyards and olive groves and affords a wonderful view of Lefka Ori, the so-called “White Mountains”, and the sea. The house stands above the immediate surroundings owing to its elevated location, opening up an impressive 360°panorama. There is only one further site in the immediate neighbourhood.

The site of around 2400m² is fully surrounded by a natural stone wall. You can enjoy absolute privacy and space in the generous garden. There are several oases of tranquility spread around the garden with olive trees providing shade, so that everyone can find their own little place to relax. The garden also has a large summer kitchen with a grill and a stone oven. The loggia on the ground floor has stairs leading to the well-tended garden and the pool area. The pool of around 5m² has a separate shallow kids’ pool. You can relax on comfortable sun loungers with a canopy. The view from the pool is towards the mountains and the sea. Its positioning ensures sunshine until just before sunset. On the upper floor of the house there is also a comfortably furnished roof terrace with roofing, which encircles the whole upper living space and affords a wonderful view. The house has four private car parking spaces, of which one garage space and three outdoor spaces. Two bicycles are available, for example for doing shopping in the morning.

The luxurious villa has a fully-heated interior of around 280m², comprising a ground floor, an upper floor and a basement. The ground floor with light tiles has a modern cooking and dining space with an open and fully-equipped kitchen and direct access to a loggia. The roofed outdoor area has a comfortable day bed, a dining table and an outdoor loudspeaker. Enjoy the stylish atmosphere with a view of the garden, the pool and the sea. The ground floor also has two generous bedrooms, each with a double bed 180cm wide, and a bathroom with a bath. The upper floor, laid with teak wood parquet throughout, has a generous living room with a panoramic window. It opens onto the circulating roof terrace. The upper floor has a third double bedroom (bed 180cm wide) and an ensuite bathroom with a bath. The bedroom has a balcony on the south side, where you can admire romantic sunsets over the sea. The basement has a further bedroom with a double bed (180cm wide) and a bathroom with a shower, a washing machine and dryer for use free of charge. All the bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning. The child-friendly holiday house has highchairs and a bed for a child up to six years old, as well as various children’s books and DVDs. These are free of charge. The accommodation is also equipped with a premium UHD TV (65” LG, satellite) with Dolby Surround stereo system, a DVD collection of over 100 films, and German and English literature. The house is cleaned twice a week during your stay free of charge.

The nearest shops such as a baker, butcher, supermarket etc. are in the coastal town Tavronitis about 5km away. You can stroll through winding alleys in the town Chania 30km away, observe the lively activity in the market hall or immerse yourself in the harbour atmosphere during a leisurely meal in a taverna. If you would like to experience one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete, you can visit the fabulous beach Falassarna or the Elafonissi lagoon. It is also recommended to go on a day trip to the island Gramvoussa where you can swim at Balos Beach. This landscape highlight can be combined with an interesting boat tour, affording a unique view of the bizarre coastline with its mysterious caves.

Wireless Internet access is free throughout the accommodation. Musical guests can use the quality piano in the generous living room on the upper floor.

    “Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sehr wertig eingerichtet. Alle Zimmer sind liebevoll ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt.
    Auch die Ausstattung in der Küche ist besonders gut: Passendes Geschirr, ausreichend Töpfe, zahlreiche Elektrogeräte, die auch alle problemlos funktionieren, großer Kühlschrank etc. Es fehlt einfach nichts.
    Selbst die "Zwischenreinigung" unter der Woche ist perfekt. Der Pool, der Garten, die Außengrillstelle, die Liege-und Spielwiese etc. sind alle super gepflegt.
    Keinerlei störende Geräusche - außer durch Grillen :-).
    Eine Anlage, in der man sich uneingeschränkt wohl fühlen kann.”
